Posted: 20 Mar 2016 04:13 PM PDT Just how much smaller can camera drones get, while still being able to record high-quality videos? The SKEYE nano drone seems to have been built as an answer to that challenge. Nano drones such as this one represent the easiest way to get started with flying remote-controlled toys. SKEYE, which is available at a discounted price in our store, Walyou Deals, combines small dimensions with many entertaining features. As a consequence, not only kids, but also grown-ups will appreciate just how easy it is to control this drone. Once you turn the drone on, all you need to do is throw it in the air. The throw-to-fly functionality definitely isn’t something you see in every device of this kind, and it’s only one of the many features that set SKEYE apart from other drones. Flying it really couldn’t have been easier! The 3 flight levels (beginner, intermediate, and advanced) make SKEYE a drone that’s adequate for anyone, no matter how much (or how little) experience they have. In theory, you could give this to kids and see them flying it in no time, but this might not be the best toy for the young ones. The advanced 6-axis flight control system, combined with the adjustable gyro sensitivity make the SKEYE very easy to fly. The low weight (only .49 ounces), and the small dimensions (1.57″L x 1.57″W x 0.87″H) surely contribute to that, too. SKEYE can record video at 640×480, which is by no means a stellar resolution. On a 4K TV it will look extremely pixelated, and even on a 1080p one it won’t look that good, but on phones the video will seem rather decent. All photos and video are stored on the included 2GB microSD card, so make sure you back up the files from time to time, in order to prevent the card from getting full. One of the main concerns people have when considering buying a drone is the battery life of the toy. The SKEYE nano camera drone features a built-in 3.7V 120mAh battery that keeps it in the air for 3 to 4 minutes. A full charge takes 30 minutes, so if you have a power bank with you, you can enjoy multiple flight sessions without having to return home. As for the controller, it requires 2 AAA batteries to function, but since these are not included in the package, you’ll have to provide your own. For the next couple of days, you can find the SKEYE nano camera drone at Walyou Deals for $49.99, 27% off the regular price. If you’re just getting started with drones and aerial photography, this is definitely one of the best options for getting the hang of it before moving on to professional UAVs.

Fashion Artist Illustrates Dresses Out of Food Posted: 20 Mar 2016 01:17 PM PDT The wonderful talent and imagination of Edgar Artis manifests in designing impressive dresses for a drawn up woman out of food. The perfect combination of fashion and gastronomy. You can check out more of his incredible work on his Facebook & instagram pages. M&M Runway DressA dress that looks like it’ll fall apart at any moment. And while that might not be something people around this women would be opposed to, let’s hope she has some sort of backup waiting for her. The Butter DressA little bit of heat and this melts, so despite not being a long dress, it’s only for cool climates. The Popcorn GownWhen people talk about a dress that POPS, they’re probably thinking about this. Who knew you needed a microwave to make make a cocktail dress?! The Chocolate GownNot only is it raunchy and delightful while somehow reminding me of Jean Grey (Phoenix wings for some reason), but it’s chocolate. As Kramer once called it, the dark master, the cocoa bean! The Lemon DressI guess the obligatory pun for this dress is that it makes you look juicy. The Fries DressI know it doesn’t work that way for everyone, but fries always remind me of the beach during my younger days. And this red and yellow, ketchup and fries design is all about summer. The Kiwi DressA greenish, healthy combination of the Little Mermaid and Poison Ivy. Cheese DressYes, there are holes in it, but they’re placed so the important places will remain hidden, to keep the mystery and allure going. Onion DressSo beautiful it’ll make you cry. Be Social! URB-E The Electric Folding Scooter Posted: 20 Mar 2016 12:47 PM PDT While an electric scooter doesn’t go as fast as a supercar, the URB-E electric folding scooter is probably as close to one. Designed and assembled in Pasadena, California, with a 20 mile ranger and a top speed of 15mph (legal to ride anywhere a bicycle is), it’s engineered by Sven Etzelsberger, former lead engineer at Porsche, Saleen, and Fisker Automotive. It has a patented design which enables it to be easily and comfortably folded so it can fit on a boat, plane, car trunk, bus, train, closet, coat check or your office – practically anywhere. It weighs 35 pounds. And why did we mention supercars? Not just because of the CTO Sven Etzelsberger and his Porsche past. The URB-E scooter is scooter quality at its finest, built from 6061 aircraft aluminum and carbon fiber with a 36V lithium ion battery, 250W brushless motor, and a cross-drilled rear disc brake. Even each screw is torqued and personally initialed by our Production Manager before being shipped to customers. This isn’t your usual scooter. There’s probably more thought and precision in this product than a lot of cars and for those who don’t compromise on quality, durability and safety, you probably won’t find a better one. It’s available for $1,699 Be Social! Follow Walyou on Facebook and Twitter. For more Scooter posts check out our 10 Awesome Segways & Hoverboards. |
