Modbox: Hipster Hyperbole or Prefab Live & Work Space?

One could say this is less about design and more about an image, but then again, isn’t architecture always about look, whether or not it is the overt focus of the work?

Speculation aside, here it is: Modbox, a 10 by 10 by 10 spacious-seeming abode complete with high-quality fixtures and appliances that are a blend of retro cool and refined hot.

The critique this author has is simply one of approach: their descriptions talk about sustainability and small-space living, but their images speak to glamour and style. Not that the latter are unreasonable to focus on, just that there is a disconnect in the discussion.
