Optical Illusion of The Day: Rob Gonsalves Magic Realism Chess Painting |
Rob Gonsalves Magic Realism Chess Painting Posted: 13 Jan 2016 05:12 AM PST Rob Gonsalves is a Canadian painter who has created numerous paintings that fall into the magic realism genre. I don’t know how the heck this guy does it! His work is amazing, and we’ve featured it on Mighty Optical Illusions before. I keep ending up back at his paintings, though. I guess I’m just drawn to this guy. I found a Rob Gonsalves painting this morning that I don’t think has been posted on Mighty Optical illusions before. If it has, well then I apologize for the repeat, but it’s still a pretty awesome illusion painting! Maybe I’m just drawn to this Rob Gonsalves painting because of the chess theme. I’ve played chess since I was in third grade. I’m not very good at it, but it’s still one of my favorite games. I taught my own kids to play chess at a very young age, and they played with their grandfather before he passed away. Maybe that’s why this particular painting tugs at my heartstrings. Want to see more Rob Gonsalves paintings? Head over and check out this nice little collection of Gonsalves paintings and see why I’m a little obsessed! The post Rob Gonsalves Magic Realism Chess Painting appeared first on Mighty Optical Illusions. |
