Star Wars Inspired Jackets

star wars REY SHIRT JACKET WOMENS

Among the endless stream of Star Wars items to flood our lives since Episode VII came out, something that stands out, which is difficult to do, are the Star Wars inspired jackets by Matchless London, which is mostly about keeping a certain look and feel from the film, not copy it completely.

The idea behind the Matchless jackets Star Wars line isn’t to copy them one for one from the films, but keep the distinct style of Matchless London with a Star Wars kind of twist.

Some might be closer to the origin than others. The Finn and Han Solo jacket more than slightly resemble their clothing from the films, while the Tie Fighter Pilot and the Rey jackets are more about providing inspiration, nothing more.

These jackets do provide something of a different way for Star Wars fans to look like their heroes/idols from the film series, but do it with some sort of original look. It can be a Star Wars jacket, but it can also be a rugged looking vintage one that happens to resemble something from Star Wars, nothing more.

For those interested, they do not come cheaply. The Han Solo Men’s jacket will set you back over £1000, although it hasn’t stopped people from getting these, with the popular sizes running out of stock. You can get them all here, with the The Tie Fighter Blouson being my personal favorite.

iOS 9 & Swift 2 - Step It Up

App development can be an a dull topic if all you do is focus on the theory. Practice plays an extremely important role in learning, and that’s exactly the approach taken in the iOS 9 & Swift 2: Step It Up! course.

Even though it’s targeted at experienced app developers, the iOS 9 & Swift 2: Step It Up! course takes a step-by-step approach that’s adequate for anyone. A great course for expanding one’s skill set, this one features 77 lectures and 15.5 hours of content at the end of which you’ll be able to build a real life music video app. The piece of software that you’ll end up with can be furthermore improved using concepts learned throughout the course.

The instructor of this course is Michael A. Rudowsky, the founder of MAR Software Technologies. Among the things that recommend him are more than 30 years of experience in IT and a passion for computers that began in the late ’70s. By mastering UNIX and C programming in the ’80s, he ended up working for such Fortune 500 companies as Merrill Lynch and Johnson and Johnson. MAR Software Technologies was founded in 2014 with the main purpose of spreading the knowledge.

Once you purchase the course, you’ll have lifetime access to it. The only requirement is Internet access, since all lectures are streamed on the Web. Unfortunately, you won’t receive a certificate of completion at the end of the course, but you’ll pack some serious baggage of knowledge.

The iOS 9 & Swift 2: Step It Up! is available on Walyou Deals for just a few more hours. Considering that you’ll only have to pay $19.99, when the retail value of the course is $299, this really is an opportunity you shouldn’t miss if you’re willing to learn iOS app development the right way.

There’s also the Ringtone Annoy-a-tron, which does the same thing more or less, only with ringing and buzzing, which makes people start yelling “Whose phone is that?! Where is that phone?!”… Soon they’ll stop working and go look for it. Productivity in the office that day? Zero. Prank accomplished.

ANd the third is the Eviltron, which works more on the scary angle. It produces spooky and scary noises out of nowhere, and being unable to find it, will make things uncomfortable for those not in on the joke. You can choose between creaking, scratching noises, last breath gasping, a sinister laugh or a creepy whisper.

In all, a wide variety of ways to make people either annoyed or scared on the greatest day of all for pranksters, who just need to be the best at this and win some important office pool. Artist Creates Coolest Coffee Monsters From Coffee Stains

Artist Creates Coolest Coffee Monsters From Coffee Staines

We’ve all been there: you put your cup of joe on a newspaper, letter, homework, and you get a stain on it. Most of us will just throw the stained paper, some of us will get mad that we didn’t use a coaster but Stefan Kuhnigk thought of something different. He saw a new form of art in those stains.

It all began on a cold November when Stefan spilled some coffee on a piece of paper and noticed that the coffee stain looks like a little cute monster; a coffee monster. Ever since that day he’s been spilling coffee on a daily basis creating these little coffee creations. You can see all of his awesome work on his instagram/facebook accounts and website. For each of his coffee monsters, there is a story.

“Story: The vibes have been bad for Vibor, the small nosemouth-coffeemonster, who tried to bring good to the world but has been dismissed by most of the other monsters and their bad vibes. So he also started bad vibes. Not cool, Vibor. Not cool. You should have known better”

“Story: Muertus was not very pleased as he saw, that in the near future a hero would come and behead him. But well. Perhaps it was failed magic again. He was not a good evil magician at all. So he just sighed and went on with trying to rule the world”

“Story: Could you say no to him, if he asked you, if he could eat you alive?”

“The angry chicken”

After realizing the potential and popularity of these little creatures, he started a Kickstarter project to publish these little coffee monsters in a coffee table book. Visit his Kickstarter page to see more details and support his effort.
