Various Food Miniatures by PetitPlat

Posted: 19 Nov 2012 01:31 AM PST

Stéphanie Kilgast studied and obtained a masters in architecture. During her studies, in the summer of 2007, she discovered the world of miniatures while searching for a new and appealing craft.

Sculpting in miniature is a daily challenge that she enjoys and the small scale gives her the opportunity to question what we see and think we see, especially in her photography. Miniatures are usually appreciated because they make you think you can put the world in your pocket. Simply put, Stéphanie’s work makes people happy, and that is probably her ultimate goal. Enjoy the collection below!
