Walk-Through of Modern House With a Feline Tour Guide

Our pets enjoy our living spaces as much as we do, but they are notoriously unimpressed with human matters like which architect designed the home. Marcio Kogan of Studio MK27 showed off his work on the spectacular Toblerone House in Sao Paulo, Brazil by exploring it through the eyes of the owner’s cat.

In the short film, the adorable cat takes a walk around the concrete ledge that separates the glass-enclosed first floor from the wood-clad second floor. It wanders through the rooms, getting a kitty’s eye view of both the architecture and the family residing within the walls.

According to the architects, the point of the project was to make a film about the day-to-day life of the home without paying much attention to the architecture.

The unusual tactic allows the spectacular home to shine without being pretentious. It also offers a view into a home that we, as fans of architecture, do not often get to see: exactly how the house is lived in by the people who call it home.

This modern bathroom set from Stemik Living features clean lines, contemporary black components, and an elegant aesthetic that would make any bathroom feel kind of like a designer showroom.

The Onyx suite of bathroom furniture is covered in glossy black glass or laminate fronts, all offset with sleek aluminum frames. Features like pull-out drawers under the sink and several different types of mirrors make it possible to assemble a completely custom bathroom.

Turning away from the traditional ceramic and wood aesthetic, the Onyx suite is streamlined and minimalist but still manages to feel rather luxurious.

While parents of small children may cringe at the thought of keeping shiny black surfaces clean (particularly in a bathroom), the modern bathroom interior is an exercise in artistic room design.
