His “Pencil Vs Camera” project mixes drawing and photography, imagination and reality. It's a new visual concept invented and initiated by Ben Heine in 2010. Ben published his first “Pencil Vs Camera” image in April 2010 but the series is the result of a long graphic exploration. Below, you may see his latest artworks published just recently. Enjoy!

Staring out as a traditional artist many years ago, he began to work digitally in January of 2001. While still using traditional methods, he employs a combination of digital painting, 3D and photography in his work. This versatility allows him to cross (and blur) the lines of reality in ways that are just not possible for him using traditional methods alone. Let’s take a look together at some of his artworks.
