Shake Washer: Mini Hand-Powered Travel Washing Machine Posted: 24 Sep 2013 04:00 PM PDT Frequent travelers know you can get by for a while with the same pair of pants or a single sweater, but t-shirts and other undergarments are another issue, needing more frequent changes. For those slightly-too-long trips with slightly-too-little space, the Shaking Washer by Jung Seub Lee proposes a solution for smaller articles of clothing – an all-in-one, hand-shaken washer with a built-in, electrical wall-charged dryer. Of course, this all raises another question: if you are light on packing room, where does this device fit in? Perhaps a better and slimmer offering would simply dry off the clothes you wash in the sink, since the real time sink (so to speak) is less in the washing and more in the waiting for socks and underwear to dry. |
