Optical Illusion of The Day: Impossible Wood Optical Illusion |
Impossible Wood Optical Illusion Posted: 25 Apr 2016 05:04 AM PDT My father is quite the carpenter, and I’ve picked up a skill or two from him, so I do know a little about woodworking. Today’s wood optical illusion, however, does have me stumped. I can’t tell if it’s some sort of clever manipulation of the wood and grain pattern or if this image has been Photoshopped. Take a look… If you look at the right side, it appears to be two blocks of wood nailed together side by side. However, look at the left side of the image, and it appears to be two pieces of wood with one on top of the other or one piece with a notch cut into it. The grains of both piece of wood match up seamlessly, which makes this illusion even more difficult to figure out. And, what about the hand in the image? I wonder if it’s there to cover some key piece of the puzzle that will show us the answer to this wood optical illusion. What do you think? Good illusion or no?
