Optical Illusion of The Day: Flowers and Skull Optical Illusion

I know, I know! There are lots of skull optical illusion pictures on the site. But there’s just something about them, ya know? Skulls are creepy, yet completely fascinating, especially when they’re hidden in an image with objects that are generally considered to be beautiful and delicate. Such a contrast is always fascinating.

Today’s illusion is just such a skull optical illusion.

You can probably easily see the skull in this image, but can you tell that it’s not actually a picture of a skull? It’s really a picture of flowers and other plants. The skull optical illusion is hidden in the negative space between the plants. This one is nicely done, and it’s one of my favorite skull illusions out there!

A Few Perfectly Timed Photos With Helicopters

How is everyone’s weekend? Fantastic, I hope! I have mixed feelings on mine. On one hand, I got to start moving into the new house I bought. On the other hand, I had to start moving into the new house I bought. Moving sucks. Period.

There’s no easy way to do it. You still have to pack everything, haul around boxes, and unpack. Unless you have the extra funds to hire someone to do all that for you, it’s no joy at all! As I was ratchet strapping yesterday’s last load to the trailer, I found myself thinking “boy I wish I had a helicopter…” Yes. These are the thoughts that roll through my mind at random intervals throughout the day. I know a helicopter wouldn’t make moving any easier, but it seemed like a good idea at the time.

Anyway, enough with my boring drivel. After my helicopter epiphany yesterday, I got to looking up some helicopter optical illusions and came up with a little collection of perfectly timed photos with helicopters.

First up, we have a plane landing on the rotor blade of a helicopter. If this photographer had taken this image a split second before or after this, it wouldn’t be on a list of helicopter perfectly timed photos!

Next up, we have a helicopter crashing into a cliff. Well, not really. It’s actually a perfectly timed photo, and the helicopter is flying behind the cliff.

Last up on our list of perfectly timed photos with helicopters, we have a helicopter with angel wings. I think we actually have a better helicopter with angel wings illusion here on the site, but I kinda like this one just because it’s a Chinook and I love Chinook helos!
