End Geo-Restrictions with a Lifetime Subscription to Getflix VPN

Posted: 31 Dec 2015 09:22 AM PST

Smart DNS Proxy Getflix VPN - Lifetime Subscription Walyou Deals

While geo-restrictions makes sense sometimes due to copyright laws, most of the time they are really absurd. Getflix, which is a VPN service available on Walyou Deals in the form of a discounted lifetime subscription, can help you circumvent such problems by providing you an IP from an accepted location.

Developed by Smart DNS Proxy, the Getflix VPN service focuses mainly on providing unrestricted access to movie streaming services such as Netflix or Hulu. On one hand, there are the people who live in areas where such content can’t be accessed at all, and on the other hand, there are the ones living in the US who don’t want to give up on their favorite shows while traveling. In both of these situations, Getflix seems to be the ideal solution.

In numbers, Getflix provides access to more than 50 VPN nodes that in turn unblock more than 100 streaming channels. That literally puts a world of entertainment at your fingers, with anything you could wish for, from movies and TV shows to sports and music channels that you couldn’t have previously accessed. Assuming that you activate Getflix on your mobile devices, be them smartphones or tablets, you will be able to watch all these different types of content from any corner of your world.

Besides the regular account, people buying a lifetime subscription to Getflix also have the option to create a free VNP & SmartVPN account that encrypts all of their traffic with 256-bit SSL encryption. That’s particularly important for people who are concerned about their privacy.

While many VPN services limit the number of devices you can use for accessing geo-restricted content, Smart DNS Proxy claims that the SmartDNS network can be accessed from unlimited devices. Once you buy the license, you can activate it on up to 10 computers. It’s probably better to use the account on a wireless router, so that it counts as a single device, regardless of how many Wi-Fi devices access the geo-restricted content in the same network. By doing so, you’ll be able to run streaming services on the following platforms and more: Windows, Mac, PS3/PS4, Xbox 360, Nintendo Wii/Wii U, iOS, Android, Apple TV, Roku, WD TV Live.

For a complete list of servers and locations, go here. In addition, a complete list of compatible platforms can be found here.

The length of access, even though it’s labeled as lifetime by Smart DNS Proxy, is of 30 years. This is more than enough, since by the time it ends there probably won’t be such a thing as geo-restricted content, anyway.

To purchase the lifetime subscription to Getflix, head over to Walyou Deals, where you’ll find it for $39 (originally $330). Considering the enormous discount and the numerous benefits brought by Getflix, this surely is an opportunity you wouldn’t want to miss if you’re interested in watching streaming services you couldn’t otherwise be able to access.

Beautifully Mashed-Up Darth Vader Helmet & Homer Simpson

Posted: 30 Dec 2015 12:52 PM PST

Darth Homer

There’s nothing hotter at the moment than Star Wars, which means, among other things, a lot of artistic mashups. One of the coolest ideas of that line we’ve seen recently is a Darth Vader helmet with a very strong Homer Simpson influence.

While there’s nothing really relating one of the greatest villains of all time and one of the biggest idiots we’ve seen on our TV screen over the last 25 years, somehow this works. Maybe it’s the Vader helmet shape that everyone loves, or simply The Simpsons yellow coloring and scheme that has become universally loved.

This wonderful piece of pop art was made by ice.md and johnpaulduray takes the sting out of the seriousness that is Darth Vader in about everything he does and says, although his helmet, responsible for his heavy breathing, will always be his most memorable feature. [Spoiler warning] It’s also the only thing of his that appears in Episode VII, The Force Awakens, although his spirit does have more influence than just one scene in the trailers and the film.

This isn’t the first time someone has done a great job of mashing up the Simpsons with something. One of our older posts (although it does check out) goes through a wide variety of Simpsons Mashups, including one Star Wars reference, maybe the coolest of the bunch.

Some people have a very different take on Fox’s royal cartoon family, turning them into Kickass Simpsons Chairs, which are probably more comfortable than they seem to be.

Record Your Ride with the GEKO Full-HD 1080p Dash Cam

GEKO Full-HD 1080P Dash Cam 01

Dash cams have numerous applications, from helping you create a timelapse of your road trip to acting like an eye witness in case of car collision. PapaGo’s GEKO E100 Full-HD 1080p dash cam, which is currently featured on Walyou Deals at a heavily discounted price, represents a smart solution that does both of these and more, without breaking the bank.

When it comes to picking a dash cam, the options are so numerous that you need to think of your priorities. Do you need one that alerts you whenever you go over the speed limit? Or one that’s aware of the poor light conditions and recommends you turning on the headlights? If you’d rather stick to the basics, then the GEKO E100 full HD dash cam may be what you need, since you’d have to pay a premium for the extra options, anyway.

PapaGo’s GEKO E100 is really a set-it-and-forget-it type of product, as you don’t have to go through overly complex menus to make sure that each of your trips gets recorded. Besides being very simple to use, this dash cam is also very well built, as it packs everything you could want from a budget-friendly device in a very compact body.

One of the major selling points of this product is definitely its ability to record in 1080p. All you need to do to notice the major difference between full HD dash cams and products with poorer resolutions is go to YouTube and watch several videos shot with both categories. The full-HD cameras provide so much more detail and clarity, that in the event of a car collision, there won’t be any doubts as to what happened.

Secondly, PapaGo’s GEKO E100 dash cam features a long cord for power source that enables you to place it in any corner of the windshield without having to worry that it won’t be powered. Besides that, the cord is long enough for you to route it in a way that doesn’t bother you while driving.

An aspect that differentiates the GEKO full-HD dash cam from its competitors is the motion activated recording. That means that you don’t have to remember to hit the record button each time you get in the car for a ride.

The screen has also been designed in a way that makes it very convenient to use. You can flip it in any position suits you the best. Some may complain about its small size (1.5-inch in diagonal), but it really is very unobtrusive, so it won’t distract you while driving.

Included with the dash cam are a car charger, a suction cup mount, USB cable and an 8GB microSD card with adapter. Once the files are recorded, the device write protects them, to prevent overwriting, so you’ll need to transfer the videos to a PC every so often.

PapaGo’s GEKO E100 full-HD 1080p dash cam is available on Walyou Deals for $59.99 (originally $100, so we’re speaking about a 40% discount here) for the next three days. Get yourself one if you want to make future road trips more memorable, if you need to feel safe while driving, knowing that any and all traffic events will be recorded.

Fallout 4 Can be Completed Without You Killing a Single Thing

Fallout 4 Zero Kills

Fallout 4, a game about a Post Nuclear War United States, with ghouls, Super Mutants, Deathclaws, raiders, gunners and anything else you can think of trying to kill you, can be completed without you actually completing anyone.

Quick recap: Fallout 4 is the latest in the successful Bethesda series of games about a post apocalyptic world, focusing on different areas in the United States in each game, with civilization trying to built itself back up after Nuclear War which pretty much devastated anything.

Fallout 4 takes place in the Commonwealth, which is pretty much Boston and the surrounding area, or what’s left of it. You wake up from cryogenic sleep inside a vault (something like a bomb shelter, but not exactly) 200 years after the bombs dropped. One of the first things you get to put your hands on is a gun in order to kill mutated roaches. This game is about advancing through killing, or at least everyone thought it is.

Kyle Hinckey broke the game. He completed Fallout 4 (personally I’ve been playing for 50 hours and I’m not even close to finishing. Damn you side missions!) without killing anyone (himself, we’ll get to that soon enough), and also did it on ‘Survival’, the highest level of difficulty. He made it all available for the masses to see through his Youtube channel, The Weirdist.

So how did he do it? It certainly wasn’t smooth, or easy. Like any Bethesda game, it took a lot of saves and re-dos.

My first attempt was dismal. I got discouraged immediately on the first quest, which insists all the raiders in one of the early missions die.

He didn’t give up, and tried again, and again. Eventually he found out that the Raiders could be left alone on that mission, and this made him move forward with his plan. He put in 75 hours into the playthrough before realizing he was backing the wrong faction, which meant he had to kill six people.

So he started over, creating Dizzy, which he perked up (the abilities you give and improve during the game) to be charismatic and built for mind games, but useless when it comes to killing. It gave Hinckey’s character the ability to convince and calm down humans and wasteland creatures, and eventually gain the ability to turn people against each other in a murderous rage. That’s how he completed the game. Some killing has to be done. It just doesn’t mean you have to do it.

In an interview last summer, Todd Howard, the game director, was asked about the different play styles the game would support, being an RPG and all. Fallout games usually allow players to approach problems and missions in a variety of ways.

I can't tell you that you can play the whole game without violence – that's not necessarily a goal of ours.

Even with the game pushing you towards killing certain key characters, turns out it can be done in a different way. As Hinckey said: The thing about Todd Howard is, even he doesn't know what his games are capable of.

If you want to see Hinckey going through his playthrough to complete the game, watch his playlist.

Nextbook Ares and Flexx 2-in-1 Tablets to Launch at CES 2016

Posted: 30 Dec 2015 01:14 PM PST

The Nextbook Ares 11A 2-in-1 Android tablet will debut at CES 2016 (PRNewsFoto/E FUN)

It doesn’t matter if you prefer Android Lollipop or Windows 10, as long as 2-in-1 tablets are your thing, E FUN has you covered with two of its upcoming products from the Nextbook line, Ares and Flexx, both scheduled to launch at CES 2016.

CES 2016 will surely be a launching ramp for a lot of revolutionary gadgets, but that doesn’t mean that the tradeshow is a forbidden area for more common devices, such as 2-in-1 tablets. Acting as a buffer between regular tablets and notebooks, these products seem to be the best of two worlds. While E FUN’s Nextbook detachables don’t have dual-boot abilities, there is still

The first in line is the Ares 11A, an Android 5.1 2-in-1 tablet that, as its name suggests, packs a 11-inch display with a 1366×768 resolution. Under the hood, the device sports a quad-core Intel Atom x5-Z8300 CPU, 2GB of RAM, 64 of on-board storage and an microSD port that allows you to further expand the storage by up to 64GB. In terms of connectivity, the Ares 11A features miniHDMI, microUSB, 2 USB ports in the keyboard dock, Bluetooth 4.0 and Wi-Fi b/g/n. When it comes to taking photos and doing video calls, the Ares can handle both with its 2.0 MP front and rear cameras.

“We are excited to expand our Nextbook Ares tablet line in 2016 with upgraded features,” stated Jason Liszewski, managing director and VP of sales for E FUN. “The new Ares 11A was built with consumers in mind to be the right combination of features and price.”

Liszewski is definitely right about that sweet spot, as the Ares 11A will launch in Q2 2016 for $219.99, a price that will be hard to match by other manufacturers.

The Windows version of the 2-in-1 will be available in three versions named Flexx 9A, Flexx 10A and Flexx 11A. All of them run Windows 10 and are powered by the same Intel Atom CPU as the Ares. Besides that, they also feature 2GB of RAM, but only come with 32GB of internal storage that can be furthermore expanded by up to 64GB using a microSD card.

“Coming off a strong holiday season where we exceeded our sales targets, we are extremely excited to introduce new detachables powered by Windows 10, at affordable prices in 2016. Working with great technology partners, these new Nextbooks are sure to be popular as consumer interest in tablets powered by Windows 10 continues to grow,” added Liszewski.

Besides the OS and the amount of internal memory, Flexx and Ares differ in the size and resolution of their screens. Flexx 9A was built with an 8.9″ capacitative multi-touch IPS display that has a resolution of 1280×800, while the 10A packs a 10.1″ IPS panel with the same resolution. Only the 11A matches Ares’ resolution, but at 11.6-inch, it has a slightly larger diagonal.

These three 2-in-1 tablets will be equally affordable, as E FUN has announced that the 9A would cost $149.99, the 10A $199.99, and the Flexx 11A $249. As with the Ares 11A, we’ll have to wait till Q2 of 2016 to get our hands on these devices.
