Traditional Portraits by Elizabeth Caffey Posted: 11 Feb 2014 02:00 AM PST Elizabeth Caffey is a self taught painter/illustrator who currently lives and works from her studio in Quartz Hill, California. Her work draws from surrealist, realist and illustration traditions. Her paintings show a cast of characters who are complex and strange. The images invite the viewer into another world and at the same time uses the psychological aspects of the human psyche in this world. She has been displaying her work in galleries since 2008 including The Hive Gallery and Studios, C.A.V.E. Gallery, Cannibal Flower, Distinction Art, and Eclectix. Her work has been published in several issues ofThe Northridge Review and Max and The Siamese Twins by Max Stout.
