Even though you probably love optical illusions and impossible objects, I’ll bet you’ve never heard of Vicente Meavilla Segui. He’s not as well know as some of the more famous optical illusion or surrealism artists, but his some of his work is pretty awesome! This Spanish high school math teacher uses little more than colored felt-tip pens and a somewhat stippled style to create his illusions. Take a look…

impossible table illusion

This impossible table illusion is somethin’, isn’t it? It really matters which side of the table you look at when viewing this image. If you try to take in the image as a whole, it becomes an impossible table. Look at the right side of the image, though, and it appears as if you’re looking at the table normally, from a slightly elevated standpoints. Conversely, look at just he left side of the impossible table and it appears as if you’re looking at it from underneath.

I can’t even imagine the amount of tie and work that Vicente Meavilla Segui put into creating this impossible table illusion, or any other of his impossible object illusions! It must take a great deal of time to plan and execute such a puzzling piece of art.
