No matter who you are, you’ve likely heard of Mario. Nintendo’s mascot, the famous Italian plumber, is one of the most popular characters of all time, and the Super Mario Bros video game series is one of the most successful franchises ever.

From the classic NES game, to Mario Galaxy, to Mario Kart, Mario Party, and even Mario at the Olympic games, this franchise spans all kinds of genres and has games to suit all audiences. Of course, if you’re a real Mario fan, you’ll need a t-shirt to show off your love! Here’s a great selection of tees to let everyone know you’re a fan.

Retro 8-Bit Mario T-shirt

To me, 8-bit Mario is the most nostalgic and memorable. I grew up playing the original Mario Bros game on the NES. Yes, it was released a decade before I was even born, but as a young child, I played NES and SNES games. I can still remember playing through the first level of Mario Bros over and over again, having a blast each time. This t-shirt brings back so many great memories, therefore making a great addition to any closet.

Super Mario Bros 3 Toddler T-Shirt

Can you say adorable? I’ve never much been into kids, but if I were to have one, I’d be dressing them in geek garb all the time. I absolutely love this t-shirt, not to mention Super Mario Bros 3 is a fantastic game.

Nintendo Mario Red T-Shirt

Simple and stylish, this t-shirt would look great paired with a jacket or cardigan. It’s casual, but not too casual, even non-gamers will appreciate this shirt. I’m a huge fan of simplistic designs, and this t-shirt is no exception.

Mario Print Retro T-Shirt

I know I just said I love simplistic designs, and simple this t-shirt is not. Yet, it’s just so fun! There’s all kinds of bright, warm colors, it looks like a comic book painted onto a shirt. I think this t-shirt is gorgeous and I love that it features many Mario characters. Most of the t-shirts on this list feature Mario only, but this one showcases the other great characters in the series.

Luigi T-Shirt

All right, back to the simplistic designs. Luigi is such an underrated character, it’s unfair. He stars in his own great series, Luigi’s Mansion, and he’s just as cool as Mario. (Even though he’s a wimp). I think this t-shirt is great, because just the hat and mustache are iconic enough on their own without Luigi’s face.

Mario Tanooki T-Shirt

Okay, I’ll admit when I first saw the Tanooki, I thought it was a raccoon. And of course, almost immediately, I thought, why the heck is a raccoon flying? Then I did some research and found out that no, it’s not a raccoon, it’s actually a tanuki, a Japanese raccoon dog. (So almost a raccoon). Tanuki’s can’t fly, but whatever, this is a video game, and the tanooki suit is an awesome item in Mario games. Plus, this t-shirt is cute. Really cute.

Classic Mario T-Shirt

Much like an earlier entry on this list, this t-shirt brings so much nostalgia into my gamer heart. The NES controller, 8-bit Mario, and all of the other memorable aspects of this classic game are featured on this t-shirt. I find it to be absolutely awesome. Excuse me while I go plug in my NES and fire up Mario Bros. Maybe this time I’ll make it past level one; don’t judge young me, I was terrible at games.

Super Mario Bros Super Show T-Shirt

Who remembers the Super Mario Bros Super Show? No? You probably mentally blocked it, and I don’t blame you. This TV show is crazy, with terrible acting and probably the most racist portrayal of Italians I’ve ever seen, but it makes for some memorable TV viewing. Fortunately, the majority of the show is animated, and its animated parts are far better than the live action parts. This t-shirt features animated Mario and Luigi, the part of the show which you should remember.

Did you see a t-shirt that caught your eye? I could have easily picked a dozen more, because there are so many great Mario t-shirts out there. If you didn’t find one that struck your fancy here, there are plenty more to be found! Happy shopping!

7 Best Smart LED Light Bulbs For Your Smart Home

7-best-smart-led-light-bulbs-for-your-smart-home7-best-smart-led-light-bulbs-for-your-smart-home

Gone are the days when light bulbs were used just for illuminating your room. With smart TVs, smartphones, smartwatches, and more, we now have smart LED bulbs too.

Control them with a swipe of your finger virtually from anywhere at home. Their popularity is growing day by day and I thought it is the perfect time for a list of the 8 Best Smart LED Bulbs in the market right now. These have been tried and tested, and you can't possibly go wrong with them.

LIFX Color 1000 A19 Smart LED Light Bulb

This smart LED bulb comes in a pack of one. The great thing about the LIFX Color 1000 is that it has Wi-Fi built-in. This means that you don't need a hub to control the bulbs. It can be directly controlled with your smartphone to set colors from the 16 million available. There are 1,000 different shades of white available which is extremely less compared to the Philips Hue smart LED light bulb. The LIFX app is available across all platforms, be it Android, Windows or iOS.

GE Link Smart LED Light Bulb

The GE Link Smart LED light bulb requires a hub to connect to your smartphone, unlike the LIEF Color A1000. This means that you would have to invest in a hub like the Wink Hub to be able to use it. Once the hub is set up, you can use your smartphone to control the smart LED light bulb from virtually anywhere. Different light bulbs can be controlled as a group or as single bulbs. They can be scheduled and synced with other smart products according to your preferences.

Philips Hue White and Color Ambiance A19 Starter Kit

Philips Hue smart LED light bulbs are the most expensive ones on this list. But it does come with the brand quality and assurance of Philips. The third generation of this kit comes with much brighter and richer colors. It is compatible with Amazon Alexa for voice control as well as Apple Homekit technology. You can now choose from 16 million colors as well as 50,000 different shades of white light for the perfect ambiance and mood at home. The kit comes with three bulbs and the Hue Bridge hub which can connect up to 50 lights.

TP-Link Smart LED Light Bulb

TP-Link Smart LED light bulb doesn't require a hub. It works well with your Wi-Fi router and all you need is the Kasa app to control the bulbs. The Kasa app can be set up on your smartphone or tablet. It can be then used to adjust the brightness, set schedules and scenes. It can also work well with Amazon Alexa for voice automation. The best part about this one is that it can work with an existing Wi-Fi network at home.

Flux Bluetooth Smart LED Light Bulb

The Flux Smart LED light bulb looks amazing with its matte black base. This is by far the only smart LED bulb to have it. This also uses Bluetooth unlike most of the other smart LED light bulbs which use Wi-Fi. All you've got to do is download the Flux Bluetooth app on your phone. The Flux Bluetooth smart light bulb can change colors automatically while playing music for an unforgettable experience. If that is unlike you, relax and unwind using the custom models & scenes to create something to your liking.

MagicLight WiFi Smart LED Light Bulb

This is yet another smart LED light bulb that doesn't require a hub but uses your home Wi-Fi network. It also works with Amazon Alexa for voice control. The MagicLight smart LED light bulb is very similar to the one given above and it has more or less the same features. You can schedule the lights using the Magic Home Pro app. This is extremely useful and can be used for shutting off the lights at night, waking up to a particular color or coming home from work to a peaceful lighting, all from your smartphone.

LUCERO Smart Bulb

The last one on the list is another Bluetooth controlled smart bulb. The only downside to Bluetooth is the lack of range compared to a Wi-Fi network. If that doesn't bother you, there is nothing else that will. This one too has most of the features of other smart LED light bulbs and has a great rating on Amazon from nearly 200 reviews. There are a lot of pre-programmed modes for you to try out and the countdown timer is a cool little addition. You can control up to 50 light bulbs individually or control them as groups of five bulbs each.

18 Biggest Movies for Geeks in 2017

Whether it’s superheroes, sci-fi, fantasy, horror or Star Wars (which always deserves it’s own category), 2017 looks like another big year, filled with exciting new films and anticipated sequels, for geeky movies.

Image via: Reddit

1. Logan (March 3): Probably the final time Hugh Jackman portrays Wolverine in the third solo movie for the most famous X-man. Hopefully, this edition will be better than the previous two, and all signs, starting with the source material (Old Man Logan) and the R-Rating point towards a very good movie.

Image via: Reddit

2. Kong: Skull Island (March 10): It’s been 12 years since the Peter Jackson King Kong film hit the screens, and now comes the 8th feature film on the subject. What’s different? A more gonzo action approach, and probably a bit more humor than before. Until all the fighting begins.

Image via: reddit

3. Life (March 24): Kinda like Alien (in a year that another Alien comes out), only with Ryan Reynolds and Jake Gyllenhaal.

Image via: reddit

4. Ghost in the Shell (March 31): Scarlett Johansson stars in this live-action version of the mega-popular Japanese anime, which should be filled with plenty of cyberpunk atmosphere and slow-motion action sequences. You can also buy a cool t-shirt to look extra ready in the premiere.

Image via: reddit

5. The Circle (April 28): A movie that hopes to feed into the fear we have of the control social media has on our lives, with Emma Watson as a tech-wiz finding out her boss (Tom Hanks) and the company she works for have darker motives behind their altruistic front.

Image via: reddit

6. Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 (May 5): Marvel’s most surprising hit over the last few years hits its second phase, which is now loaded with expectations. Fun, funny and just a bit of sweet (how adorable is tiny Groot?) and everyone will be happy.

Image via: Reddit

7. Alien: Covenant (May 19): Unlike Prometheus, this movie is supposed to be closer to the original’s feel. A creepy android, and the sense that this a group of people stuck in a house (in space) with a monster going through them one by one. Plenty of face huggers and Xenomorphs too.

Image via: reddit

8. Wonder Woman (June 2): An incredibly important movie for Warner Bros. and DC as they try to keep their cinematic universe from falling apart. They don’t need a hit: They need critics to like it. Maybe more importantly, this could mean big things for female superhero movies, unless the movie doesn’t do well.

Image via: Youtube

9. The Mummy (June 9): Tom Cruise joins Universal’s Monsters cinematic universe in what looks like a typical summer-flick filled with action and a bit of crossover attempts, as Russell Crowe also appears in Dr. Jekyll form.

Image via: reddit

10. Spider-Man: Homecoming (July 7): The second reboot of Marvel’s most precious character, this time the big wigs are hoping it lasts more than two films like it did with Andrew Garfield. British Tom Holland plays Peter Parker, going up against The Vulture in this edition. Aunt May keeps getting younger, with Marisa Tomei picking up the mantle.

Image via: YouTube

11. War for the Planet of the Apes (July 14): The next installment in this successful and critically acclaimed reboot, as Caesar takes the next step towards making apes the dominant force on the planet. Woody Harrelson will try to stop him.

Image via: YouTube

12. Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets (July 21): Luc Besson’s take on a Gallic comic series, in a tail of two agents hopping between eras, friends and foes across the galaxy.

Image via: YouTube

13. The Dark Tower (July 28): A long time in the making, Stephen King’s epic series is finally hitting the screens, with Idris Elba and Matthew McConaughey facing off in a story of good, evil in a fantasy-western setting.

Image via: Trailers

14. It (September 8): The second classic Stephen King novel adaptation of the year. There’s already a famous 80’s mini-series about Pennywise the killer clown; the movie might be even scarier.

Image via: Film

15. Blade Runner 2049 (October 6): Denis Villeneuve can do wrong at the moment, so we’re hoping he takes the quintessential cyberpunk movie and does right by the original creation. Harrison Ford returns as Deckard, reprising yet another classic character of his. Maybe we’ll finally find out if he’s a replicant or not.

Image via: Youtube

16. Thor: Ragnarok (November 3): After missing out on the mini-Avengers film under the Captain America title, Thor is back, bringing Loki along for the ride, as he battles both the Hulk and a new menace threatening to destroy Asgard.

Image via: Youtube

17. Justice League (November 17): You think DC and WB are nervous about Wonder Woman? Multiply it by 100 and you’ll get how they feel about the Justice League. It’ll bring in the money, but if this movie fails to impress in quality, it’ll be another blow in the neverending multiplatform war with Marvel.

Image via: Youtube

18. Star Wars: Episode VIII (December 15): It’s hard to quantify how excited people get about a new Star Wars film. Now that it’s also the final appearance of Carrie Fisher as Princess Leia, it brings on another angle of anticipation, while we await to see what happens with Luke, Rey, Finn and Emo-Sith.
